An 'agora' served as a central gathering place in ancient Greece to bring people together for artistic, civic, and social engagements.
Robert Oh, founder, originally began his career on Wall Street first in asset management and most recently as CAO/COO of Sales at a global investment bank within its Capital Markets business in the Americas. Over the years, he remained closely involved in the diamond industry earning his Graduate Gemologist ("GG") certification from the GIA and "sitting on the wheel" learning the intricacies of diamond faceting and cutting from one of the preeminent diamond cutters in New York's storied Diamond District.
Rob formed Agora during the late evenings in his NYC apartment (while working in banking during the day) recognizing an ongoing need for trusted guidance in the diamond jewelry process, to fulfill his passion for the trade, and to answer a call to entrepreneurship. He continues his late father Charlie's legacy of delivering exceptional diamond expertise, jewelry, and service to clients.
